Clothes drier
The clothes drier reduces humidity of the clothes by using hot air. In order to dry the same amount of clothes that the washing machine washes, a drum that has double the volume would be needed.

  • Check the labels in the clothes to know whether or not you can use the clothes drier and, if you can, what temperature. Remember that fibrous materials need a lower temperature than cotton.
  • If, afterwards, you plan on ironing the clothes, lower the drying temperature in 10 to 15 minutes.
  • You must periodically clean the filters and remove the excess water.
  • Programme the machines to start the drying process at the time that is best for you, taking advantage of the times when electricity rates are reduced.
